Difficult Women (December 2019)
Our First full length production: Difficult Women, had a four night run at the Tank Theater NYC.
Based off of the characters found in Roxane Gay's collection of short stories "Difficult Women" we explore female identity and how it is found through the human struggles within their lives, not through the various "stereotypes" society has dictated.

"My Body" (November 2019)
Proud to be a part of this all female cast and crew, KGDDance provided the choreography, movement direction and dancers for the music video to "My Body", by singer/songwriter Sage Buchalter. This song deals with female body autonomy, reproductive rights, treating people as individuals and showing them kindness and empathy, among other topical themes.

Annual Eating Disorder/Mental Health Awareness Show by Borne Dance Company (February 2019)
Premiering a brand new work, "Floodgates" during this incredible Annual Fundraiser. We had the opportunity to support a great cause and enjoy a night of amazing talent. Featuring work by KGDDance, Borne Dance Company, Mostly Women Improv, Flair Entertainment, Tristan Miller and others. All proceeds go towards The National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA).

Difficult Women Launch Fundraiser Performance (December 2018)
Our launch fundraiser performance and the preview of our show "Difficult Women". This evening provided a sneak preview of this brand new show by KGDDance.
"Difficult Women" is a series of duets, solo’s and trios interpreting a selection of short stories by feminist writer Roxane Gay within her book “Difficult Women”. Within Gay’s short stories she explores fictional female characters and their “difficult” imperfect lives and human flaws, their bizarre and visceral urges and behaviors produced by the situations they are faced with. Using movement to redefine the meaning of the relationships Gay presents to us, we can gain a new perspective and understanding of the intricate women within them.
As our first event as a company, audiences were able to experience our work and enjoy a post reception, to learn what KGDDance is all about!
